What exactly does the course entail?

This differs per level and the type of course. The standard group French course consists of 12 weekly French lessons of 1.5 hours.

How good is my French after a beginner's course?

After a beginner’s course in French A1-Beginner level you can have simple conversations in French. You can introduce yourself, ask for directions and order your favorite French dish in a restaurant. You can also write short e-mails. With this basic French course you are prepared for a trip to France and you have laid the foundation for a further course.

When do the courses start?

There are several starting moments throughout the year. The general course periods for the 2022 academic year are as follows:
winter courses: January to April, spring courses: April to July. Several intensive weeks in August and autumn courses: September to December

I already have (some) knowledge of French. How do I find out what my level is?

We offer French courses at all levels. After your registration you will be called for a short language test and we will see which level suits you best. After this language test you will be told to which group you can be assigned.

How can I best register?

You can easily register online for the course of your choice by looking at group courses and choosing your level and the desired start date here. After registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

How can I best pay my course fee?

After your online registration, you can pay your tuition fees directly online to Rabobank account: NL13RABO0341240583. Please note: your place is only definitively reserved once payment has been received.

Can I receive a bill of my payment?

After paying online, you will immediately receive a bill by email of your payment of the course fee.

Where can I see if there is still room in a particular course?

As long as there is room in a course, you can register for it online. If a course is full and you do not have the opportunity to take one of the other courses at the same level, we will place you on a waiting list. You will receive a message from us as soon as a course space becomes available.

Will I receive a diploma upon completion of my course?

For all other levels you can receive a certificate of participation on request.

Can I catch up with a lesson if I can't come for one time?

It can always happen that you can not come to your French class. In principle it is possible to catch up with your lesson in a group at your course level. You can catch up with a lesson if a French course is given that runs parallel to yours and if there is enough space in that group.
