French Course B1.1 on Thursdays at 6:00 PM

Have you completed level A2 and do you want to learn to speak French with more confidence? Then this B1.1 course is a great next step. The course starts on Thursday, September 17, at 6:00 PM and consists of 12 weekly lessons of 1.5 hours, or 18 lesson hours in total.

A gradual transition from A2 to B1

This course is specifically designed for students who already have a solid foundation at the A2 level but are not yet ready for our regular B1 conversation course. We use the Édito B1 method to further develop your grammatical foundation, vocabulary, listening skills, and speaking skills. New grammar is clearly explained and immediately applied in conversations and practical exercises. The level and pace are more accessible than in the regular B1 conversation course. This gives you the time to consolidate your knowledge and build more confidence step by step.

Plenty of speaking in a small group

During the lessons, you will have plenty of opportunities to speak French. You will practice with recognizable situations, conversations, short presentations, and simple discussions. The group consists of a maximum of 8 students. This ensures that everyone speaks regularly and there is sufficient room for personal feedback from the teacher.

Course materials

We primarily work with the Édito B1 method: Order Edito B1
In addition, we alternately use supplementary materials, such as:

• short articles and current texts;
• videos and audio clips;
• material from TV5MONDE, ARTE, and French-language websites;
• practical speaking and grammar exercises.

Returning students receive a 30% discount. You therefore pay €329 instead of €470.

Study load

In addition to the lessons, count on approximately 1 to 2 hours of self-study per week.
