Celebrate humanity

Fête de l’Humanité is an institution

It is an institution that has existed since 1930: the annual festival Fête de l’Humanité. A festival organized by the left-wing newspaper L’Humanité.

With an annual attendance of about half a million, it is one of the largest events in France. Visitors can enjoy music (this year Eddy de Pretto, Youssou Ndour and Marc Lavoine are on the program). In addition, the festival is dedicated to politics and debates about social themes. In short, a good place to practice your French!

This year, Fête de l’Humanité will take place from 13 to 15 September in the north of Paris (in Courneuve). A little too short day? Put the second weekend of September in the agenda for next year!
